Hello, for a few months I am going back to my homeland and probably I will not be back. I wonder if it’s possible to keep my bankaccount open and after few months (when I will be sure that all payments are done) close it just by an e-mail. Let me know. Thank You in advance for Your quick answer.

You can keep your account and close it later by phone, not by e-mail.
Before you go out of Belgium, we advise you to create your Easy Banking Phone Code and be sure that your ID data are updated in our files (you can check it with our Easy Banking Center advisors - 02/762.90.00).
With this security code, we will be able to close your account even if you are not in Belgium.
